American Rhapsody with Ragtime

Written and performed by: Rollin Wilber Concert Pianist

American Rhapsody is a sparkling Declaration of the Independence of American music.

It combines the greatest ragtime works of Pulitzer Prize winner Scott Joplin, with George Gershwin’s sweeping “Rhapsody in Blue”, and with :Union” by Louis Gottschalk, who during the Civil War era was America’s answer to Franz Liszt. This programs hopes to bring us together in our common heritage as humans, the heritage of heart and hope, and love.
